100 people aged 1 to 100 will take part in a 100-metre race, on a purpose-made track in Holyrood Park. In the lead up to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, this is a race with a difference – a race open to all, in which each participant will just be representing their age, and be in competition only with themselves. We want you, your friends and family to take part in this unique celebration of personal and physical achievement.

Through a selection of family treasures, this exhibition reveals the profound personal experiences of Scottish families during the First World War, and the methods used to remember those they loved.
